WAP INFO
WAP stands for Wireless Application Protocol. If you have a WAP-enabled phone you can view pages written in WML (Wireless Markup Language).
Our new WAP data link at www.phy.hw.ac.uk/resrev/aws/weather.wml gives you the most recent sets of data from the weather station on the Cairngorm summit.
If you don't have a WAP phone you can view such pages using a WAP-enabled browser. To test your browser, go to the Cairngorm Weather Page and click on the WAP data link or just click here to do the same. If you see the WML script or your browser asks you what you want to do with the file then your browser doesn't support WAP.
If you want a browser that can handle WAP, try the Opera browser, which has a 30-day free trial. Alternatively, use a mobile phone emulator.
The image shown here is roughly what you would get on your phone.
